Addresses Have Been Locked and Cards Have Been Charged

Last Friday we locked addresses and charged cards.

Address Changes. If you need changes to your shipping address, send me a message on Kickstarter ASAP.  At some point packages will have been sent, and it will be too late.

Declined Cards. Backers whose cards were declined should go into the Backerkit survey and update them right away. We won't be able to ship physical products nor fulfill addons to backers with declined cards. If your card was declined, you'll have received an email from Backerkit asking you to update it.

Complete Surveys Please. Some backers still haven't completed their surveys. If you'd like us to be able to send you what you paid for -- I bet you do -- please complete the Backerkit survey.

How do I complete the survey or update a declined card? You can update your address and credit card information in Backerkit, using the survey link you received before. If you misplaced the survey email or never got it, you can request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://intothefey.backerkit.com. If you still need help, send me a message on Kickstarter, and I can manually resend you the link.

Projected Fulfillment Timeline

Getting the printed proofs of the physical books (before we can order the bulk printing) is taking longer than anticipated. I don't know the exact impact to our previously shared timeline, but I plan to update it in the next bi-weekly update I make.

Work that's taken place since the last update:

Printed Books. The digital PDFs of the books have been submitted to our printer who is currently processes them. Once they complete that, we'll be able to review the processed files and order the trial books. That takes a couple weeks, I understand. Then we can review the proofs to make sure everything looks good. If so, we can order the full print run of the books!

Upcoming work on my plate:

Digital Fulfillment. I'm still planning to send out the digital PDFs of Into the Fey and the One-Shot Collection and the Map Pack very very soon.

Book Production Runs. (no change) Once we check the proofs look good, we can order the full production runs of the books.

Shipping & Logistics. (no change) Once the books are printed, we'll send them to our fulfillment partner, Quartermaster Logistics, and physical fulfillment begins!

One-Shots & Private Hangouts. (no change) Some of these have taken place. For others, I haven't heard back from all backers with this reward. If you are a backer that receives this reward, please check your Kickstarter messages.

Address Lock & Credit Card Charge - September 3

We will be locking addresses and charging credit cards on this Friday, September 3. Please make sure your credit card information is up-to-date in Backerkit prior to that date.

What Is This? This charges the credit cards you have on file in Backerkit and is for shipping costs of physical products, add-ons, and preorders, all of which are paid through Backerkit.  If you're only receiving digital rewards and you didn't get any add-ons or preorders in Backerkit, this doesn't impact you.

What Happens If My Payment Is Declined? Basically, we won't be able to ship your physical products to you, and you won't receive any add-ons or preorders you selected in Backerkit. Obviously, we want you to get your stuff; so, please update your information in Backerkit, if needed.

How Do I Update My Info? You can update your address and credit card information in Backerkit, using the survey link you received before. If you misplaced the survey email or never got it, you can request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://intothefey.backerkit.com.

Interior Layout & Design. THE FINAL DRAFT OF INTO THE FEY IS COMPLETE!!! I'm now ordering proofs from the printer for the printed version, and the digital version is ready for fulfillment! :D We should have the final draft of the One-Shot Collection within the next week. And then proofs and production run for that! :D

Interior Layout & Design. We now have the final draft of Into the Fey!!! We're just double-checking some things, but it should be all set. That means we can order a few printed proofs from the printer, and then once we confirm they look good, we can order the full production run! We should have the final draft of the One-Shot Collection within the next week. And then proofs and production run for that! :D

Tactical Tokens. A box full of Tactical Tokens now sits here beside me. They are gorgeous!!!

Wallpaper & Art Pack. These were sent out to folks via Backerkit a couple weeks ago. You can log in to Backerkit anytime to download it. If you misplaced your login information, you can get it again here:  https://intothefey.backerkit.com

One-Shots & Private Hangouts. The hangouts have begun and one of the D&D one-shots will take place on my Twitch channel next Tuesday, August 24, at 6 pm Eastern US time.

Into the Fey Project Update #21

Projected Fulfillment Timeline

This is our updated projected fulfillment timeline, broken down in to some more detail so you know where we sit on different items. My goal is to be transparent with my backers whose pledges brought this project to life. Yes, there continue to be some delays which are outside of my ability to control, but progress is being made!

Mid-August. I should have the final layouts from my graphic designers at this point, and be able to send them to my printer to get test copies of Into the Fey and the One-Shot Collection. Bear in mind that this timing is the linchpin for everything else that comes. More delays here push everything else out, so I'll be doing my best to push this along.

End of August. I should have the test copies of the physical books back from the printer at this point, and be able to order the full production run. The rest of the physical products (t-shirts, dice bags, and Tactical Tokens) will be sent to the fulfillment partner's warehouse in preparation for fulfillment. The PDFs of Into the Fey and the One-Shot Collection will be sent to backers at this point.

Beginning of September. The address lock in Backerkit will take place at this point since shipping will begin in October.

End of September. The print run should take 1 month, according to the printer, so I'll have the physical books in my hands by the end of September.

Beginning to Mid October. My fulfillment partner will be able to begin fulfillment shortly after they receive the physical books. This means your stuff will begin arriving!

TL;DR. Digital products, such as the PDFs of Into the Fey and the One-Shot Collection, should be in your hands by the end of August. JUST ONE MONTH! Physical products should be in your hands by the end of October or the beginning of November.

Work that's taken place since the last update:

Interior Layout & Design. The complete drafts of both Into the Fey and the One-Shot Collection interior layout and design are done. We have delivered feedback and requested updates to our graphic designers, and we are now waiting for the final proofs back.

Tactical Tokens. Production is complete and they are planned to ship to me in the next couple weeks. Yay!!!

Upcoming work on my plate:

Wallpaper & Art Pack. All the wallpapers have been drafted and my team has completed their review. I just need to make some updates and corrections, and then...I'll be sending this out to folks via Backerkit quite soon!!! :D

One-Shots & Private Hangouts. I've reached out to backers with this reward via Kickstarter messages to arrange for our games and 1-on-1 hangouts. Several have responded; some are silent. If you are a backer that receives this reward, please check your Kickstarter messages.

Shipping & Logistics. Work is ongoing to get everything ready to support fulfillment of physical products. I touched base with my 3PL project manager just a few days ago and preparations are on schedule.

Address Lock & Credit Card Charge. This is scheduled to happen about 1 month before we actually begin shipping. This is looking like the beginning of September at this point.

Into the Fey Project Update #20

Work that's taken place since the last update:

Interior Layout & Design. The interior layout and design for the One-Shot Collection is nearly done. And, and, AND - the draft of the interior layout and design for Into the Fey was completed about a week ago, and my team is finishing up our review of it as we speak. This week we'll be getting feedback to our graphic designer. I'm hopeful we'll have the internal layout of both the One-Shot Collection and Into the Fey finished up by the end of July! And that'll be a HUGE milestone for the project.

Tactical Tokens. I anticipate having these bad boys in my hands quite soon!

Shirts & Dice Bags. Finished! I have a big old box of these sitting beside me right now, and they look amazing. These are super high-quality dice bags! :D

Upcoming work on my plate:

Wallpaper & Art Pack. (no change) This was a first-day backer digital reward. I need to get it squared away and ready for fulfillment.

One-Shots & Private Hangouts. (no change) Backers at the $500 and $1000 tiers get 1-on-1 voice calls and one-shot D&D games, respectively, with me. Sometime in the days ahead, I will be reaching out to you via Kickstarter message and/or email to make arrangements for these benefits, if I haven't already.

Shipping & Logistics. (no change) Work is ongoing to get everything ready to support fulfillment of physical products.
